CEO Alan Jones has been in the industry since 1964.

Working from the ground up having a formal apprenticeship with one of the largest engineering companies with manufacturing facilities worldwide at the time. 

From the age of 18 he had the responsibility of running the training school while completing his apprenticeship. 

Following on from his apprenticeship he began the fabricating and welding pressure vessels and nuclear components.

He was selected to be transferred to the inspection department and became Chief Inspector at the age of 26.

From the age of 30 he began working for several world leading oil and gas companies providing global inspection and expediting services all over the world. 

In the early 90s Alan setup AJIS offering inspection and expediting services to the industry using his reputation built over many years. 

Because of his excellent reputation he began getting offers of inspection jobs he could not manage on his own, so he began sharing the workload with other high qualified inspectors. At one point becoming the only government approved pressure systems inspector for the Singapore Ministry of Manpower for UK supplied pressure vessels.

The portfolio of high quality inspectors is now 80+ and growing all vetted and approved by AJ and new inspectors are being added to meet the current and future inspections needs of the energy sector.
